DI provides students from kindergarten to college with the opportunity to develop their creativity and imagination as they work in teams to solve unusual and exciting challenges.

The Gulf Coast Region extends from Spring on the north to the Gulf of Mexico on the south, Brookshire on the west and Beaumont on the east. School districts that participate at this time are Alief ISD, Alvin ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Ft. Bend ISD, Katy ISD, Lamar CSD, Stafford ISD, and private schools, parochial schools, home schools and other organizations located within the school district boundaries of the above school districts.
